From sports fields to stages — VFACE celebrates every milestone with the whole school family.

Annual Sports Day

January – February

Audience: Students, Parents, Alumni

A full-day athletic extravaganza — track & field, relay races, team sports, and a grand march past. The highlight of the sporting calendar, open to all parents.

Cultural Day (Annual Day)

December

Audience: Students, Parents, Community

The grandest evening of the year — classical and folk dance, drama, music performances, prize distribution, and the Chief Guest address. Parents are specially invited.

Science Fair

November

Audience: Students, Parents, Judges

Student-built projects showcased to external judges and parents. Winners go on to represent VFACE at inter-school and district-level science fairs.

Pongal Celebrations

January (around 14th)

Audience: All Students & Staff

Traditional Pongal cooking, kolam drawing, Jallikattu awareness, folk music, and cultural pride activities — a joyful celebration of our Tamil heritage.

Graduation Ceremony

April – May

Audience: Class XII Students & Parents

A formal farewell for graduating Class XII students — certificates, awards, farewell speeches, and a photo session with faculty. An emotional milestone for families.

Independence & Republic Day

Audience: All Students & Staff

Flag hoisting, NCC/NSS parade, patriotic performances, and speech competitions. Both days are celebrated with full school participation.

Teachers' Day

5 September

Audience: Students & Teachers

Senior students take over teaching duties for a day, followed by a special felicitation programme honouring beloved teachers with awards and heartfelt performances.

Children's Day

14 November

Audience: All Students

A day dedicated entirely to students — fun activities, talent shows, special food, and surprises organised by the faculty. No academics. Pure celebration.

Parents Are Always Welcome

VFACE events are family events. We send invitations through the parent app and SMS for all major events. Cultural Day and Sports Day especially are designed for the entire family to attend and cheer.
